While the Sequoias are among the largest living things on earth there are few opportunities to experience them in person. Approximately 75 groves currently exist, they are located only along the southern Sierras western slope between about 5,000 and 7,000 feet in elevation.
But giant trees isn't all you'll see on your trip to the Sequoias. Abundant wildlife can be found throughout the park, including deer, bears, squirrels and many other animals native to the area. You'll also find abundant waterfalls, flowing rivers and scenic vistas sure to delight all!
