Sierra Lodge
is surrounded by breath taking views and is the perfect place to
stay on your way into the Sequoia
National Park and Kings Canyon National Parks. Home to the awe-inspiring
giant sequoia trees it is also home to General Sherman, the oldest
living Sequoia. This mighty tree is now estimated to be around 2200
years old and still growing! At 275 feet tall it is 36 feet in diameter
at the base.

THE
PARK IS OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY, YEAR-ROUND.

While the Sequoias
are among the largest living things on earth there are few opportunities
to experience them in person. Approximately 75 groves currently
exist, they are located only along the southern Sierras western
slope between about 5,000 and 7,000 feet in elevation.
But giant trees
isn't all you'll see on your trip to the Sequoias. Abundant wildlife
can be found throughout the park, including deer, bears, squirrels
and many other animals native to the area. You'll also find abundant
waterfalls, flowing rivers and scenic vistas sure to delight all!
